National Night Out is an annual event where the community and police unite against crime. On Tuesday, August 7, 2007, the Watsonville Police Department and Neighborhood Services, a division of the Parks and community Services Department, are sponsoring Watsonville’s tenth year of coming out to show its unity against crime.
The goals of National Night Out are to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, and send a message to criminals that neighborhood sare organized and fighting back.
