Central Coast Census Briefing

Rep. Farr to host briefing in conjunction with U.S. Census Bureau on 2010 Census

for local government officials, non-profits, community organizations, and interested citizens.

Census staff from the Seattle and Los Angeles regional offices will break down the 2010 data for the Central Coast, and how it pertains to the following topics:

§         Population Totals

§         Race

§         Hispanic Origin

§         Voting Age

§         Economic Growth

§         Redistricting

§         The New American Fact Finder Data System

Additionally, the Census Bureau will be introducing the 2010 Census Count Question Resolution Program.  This program will allow local municipalities to petition the Census Bureau in relation to any discrepancies that they have with the 2010 Census data.
