December 1, 2009A Call for VolunteersBe a vital link to the community and help people in need during this economic downturn. Volunteers are the key to turning this around in Santa Cruz County. Spanish-English speakers especially needed. When you help low income families prepare their tax returns, you are making an investment in your community, one family at a time. Santa Cruz Community Credit Union and Project SCOUT offer volunteers positions that give you hands-on experience. Last tax season, we helped over 1,000 people get refunds totaling over $1M.
