Office volunteer

I have been contacted by someone who wants to volunteer doing office work for a non-profit in order to get experience. She is bright, bilingual, and is currently employed, but with flexible hours.

The City of Watsonville, Save Our Shores and the California Coastal Commission would like to invite you to be part of this year’s Coastal Cleanup Day.

When:
Saturday, September 15th, 2007
Time:
9:00 a.m. to Noon

Need Community Service Hours?
Then come to River Park and your participation will be counted as community service hours.

Watsonville Clean Up Sites

Pajaro River
Meet at River Park, 100 East Front Street

Sunset State Beach
Take West Beach Street past the Red Roof Inn; keep going straight until you reach San Andreas Road; turn right and keep going until you reach Sunset Beach Road (look out for State Park Signs); turn left and keep going until you come to the end of the road.

Struve Slough
Meet at the entrance of the Pajaro Valley High School, 500 Harkins Slough Rd

Palm Beach
Take West Beach Street past the Red Roof Inn; follow West Beach Street approximately two miles westbound until you come to the end of the road.

Come, participate and enjoy a delicious lunch for all volunteers at River Park.
Parking will be free at all cleanup sites.
Cleanup materials will be provided.

You’re invited to join members of the Watsonville Community Connections Collaborative (WCCC) in a follow-up to its Fall 2006 Summit. This Summit is open to any individuals or organizations that are committed to helping improve services for families living in the Watsonville/Pajaro Valley area. When you attend, you will:

Learn about the WCCC’s accomplishments in the past year.

Strengthen partnerships with other organizations.

Prioritize issues for the WCCC to work on in the coming year.
